I’d bet money if pot was legalized nationally it would cut the murders significantly. Trump has had ample time, and Obama, Bush, Clinton, Bush...

Get the government out of what we do with our own damned bodies. I have to question just how small government somebody is that supports cannabis staying scheduled.

I don't really see the issue leaving it up to the state.

Because of Private Prisons and Pharmaceutical Companies. They like making money and buying legislators.

Legalization, if handled and regulated properly, would also continue reducing the income of the cartels. I don’t smoke the stuff, but there are many very good reasons to do this.

Trump would win for sure if he’d come out for weed

Yeah, I agree. It's been years since I used it. If it was legal I may do it again. It used to make me laugh when I did it. I could use some laughs the way things are now.

Would you be okay with your 15 yr. old Daughter smoking weed, DG?

There are things that me and you can do, that will cause us no harm, because we will not succumb to the negative aspects therein. But there are some people, who will view our own 'immunity' from said negative forces, as a personal license to indulge their own (perhaps inability) license to indulge. And they will be negatively affected.

The Good Book calls this "casting a stumbling block in the path of the weaker brethren". Not saying any person who is inclined to accept a civic responsibility burden is superior, other than serving their own personal conscience. Just saying that there are some things that a parent can do - and endorse - and there are things that they should no do (endorse)...for love's sake.

I don't smoke any more; but sure don't begrudge someone who does. Lord knows I enjoyed more than my share; and honestly, learned/saw 'abstract' things that I would otherwise not be able to 'see'.

Whatever.

I can think of several, but I'm for it. If Trump legalized it across the board you'd see his approval jump 30 pts

Legalize all drugs. The government will provide you any drug in any quantity.

You have to agree to be sterilized and sign a DNR agreement when you OD.

Tax payers subsidize the pharmaceutical companies for your drug addiction.

No need for innocent people to be victims of crime to support a person's drug habit.

Simple. It would take $$$ away from big pharma.
Too much money lobbying against it, and too few politicians who aren't crooks on the take.
As always...follow the money.

Do you honestly believe the type of people who would commit murders would let the law stop them from getting marijuana now?

What do you have against backing the blue?

Legalizing it would take money from the good guys and put it back in the criminals hands.

Why do you want to put LEO out of work by stripping them of civil asset forfeiture money, grants, etc?

You expect Trump to do anything about it? None of these people do. It's in the works just like the wall.

I just put a half ounce in my brand new Levo Infuser. Waiting for it to decarboxilate so I can make a 1/2 pound of butter.

Hood rats and trash would find something else to kill each other over. Evil human nature trumps weed.
