We’re +56 hospitalization today, which is not a flattening or downward trend. This week may bring that kind of movement, but not today. Sorry, today’s hospitalization total is an upward moving number. That’s kind of objectively the case.

So much fail in that post. Keep up

There were no reported numbers yesterday. How do you call a two day trend when there was no report?

Wait are you assuming that all the numbers for yesterday were zero?

Look, I don’t think the situation is dire. We have treatment capacity and outcomes are much better that just a few short months ago. But I also am not keen to spinning anything.

We have the largest jump in vents since the first week of April, which says a lot since they are not using vents much anymore. We have +56 hospitalization and over 30 dead (aka discharged from the hospital).

If I had to predict this week, I expect numbers to turn more positive. But sorry, you can’t make that call today.

He didn’t say rate, he said trend in rate. It’s semantics but he’s technically correct.

It's like calculus man but unfortunately that was 40 years ago so that is all I got.

Nobody is asking you to spin anything. I have given you the numbers and shown you the graph. You are just struggling with the math.

You failed Calculus, right?

He could have grasped the concept in algebra. The difference between a slope of say, 8 vs a slope of 1.5 is pretty substantial. I mean yeah, it's still a positive slope but the rate is slowing down. Of course, that seems to be way over his head.

Looks almost exactly like the Dunning Kreuger curve.
