It’s OK to Yell at Strangers Who Don’t Wear Masks

Yes. Someone wrote this. His (!?!?) name is Matt Schniederman. Matt Schneiderman obviously spent high school stuffed in a locker with his tightie whities pulled up to his neck, and now has something to say to you people who DARE question his version of “SCIENCE,” or who dare question whether the government has any right to mandate that you do fricking anything “for the protection of the public” WITH NO SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE THAT IT ACTUALLY WORKS:
My position on mask wearing remains - I do it to be polite to old people who have become genuinely terrified by the fear mongering of dumfucs like this mangina.
shite like this makes me crazy, and makes me want to engage in willful acts of assholery. Just stinking yell at the top of my lungs with no mask on CRAZY.
Yahoo Publication
ETA- there is so much in the quoted sentence that sends me off into a tirade and makes me hate smug, leftist pricks even more. I bet Matt Schneiderman has never cut his own grass and cannot change a tire. Where I come from people who: “are unwilling to conform to a new societal norm and refuse to yield what they believe to be their right to breathe ‘free,’” arent called assholes, they’re called AMERICANS. Where I come from Matt Schneiderman is an a-hole.

And yes, there are some for whom not wearing a mask is a willful act of assholery. These people are unwilling to conform to a new societal norm and refuse to yield what they believe to be their right to breathe “free.”

What happens when the 30 million or so people who have already been exposed, and either recovered or never got sick, don’t wear masks? After all, there is no reason for them TO wear a mask, and a very good reason NOT to wear a mask.
What happens when they get the screaming Mimi treatment?

For 100 years science told us there’s no reason for healthy people to wear masks. It can only harm them. Then they figured out they can politicize this virus and changed it to every single person needs to wear a mask.

I must have missed that part of the constitution that requires adhering to the "societal norm."

The obedient always think themselves as virtuous, rather than cowardly...

Wednesday, I enjoy your posts for the rational points made and your skills in constructing them in a powerful manner.
Today you made me laugh with the following colorful collection of words:
Thank-you.

I bet he didn’t yell at any ‘protesters’.

This pretty much sums up the "must wear the mask cult"

I like to wear bandannas under my hard hat at work because it keeps sweat from burning my eyes in the heat. Therefore, I have a lot bandannas, and so I just wear them as a mask in an effort to keep the Karens off my arse. Well, this morning at Kroger this woman(fellow customer, not an employee) gave me shite for not having a surgeon's masks.

It’s the ultimate virtue signal. Wearing a mask signifies you care for others. Not wearing a mask signifies you don’t care about anyone and you want people to DIE!!

Matt is free to yell at me and I’ll respond in kind. I welcome him to try and get physical as well, I’ll give him a free first shot.

These types of people are oblivious to their own hypocrisies. They are like the ANTIFA followers who use fascist techniques while claiming to be fighting fascism.

You know they love the way it empowers them. These little pukes have no idea how our laws are supposed to work.
My SNL thinks it’s a law and will argue until she tears up over it. I used to avoid the argument, but I’m to the point now I think it’s funny.

I follow a very similar thought process. When i am by myself, i really do not give a shite. No mask. Or i do not enter a business that “requires” a mask.
On vacation with the family, i put a mask in my pocket in the case that someone decides to give me grief. No way i am antagonizing someone into an argument with my family around.

I'll go one further - I think the testing is more irrelevant than the mask wearing. If you're not feeling any symptoms why get tested? The people who test positive but are asymp, does one really think the vast majority of those people are going to self quarantine for two weeks? I sure as hell don't, especially after being told to hole up at home for the last four months. People under the age of 40-45, they ain't overly concerned about this virus. They're not going to dramatically alter their lifestyles any longer and I don't much blame them. Would it be to my benefit - sure, I'm 68 with high blood pressure and a recovered asthmatic. However, I'm keeping my arse at home mostly and not being critical of people who want to live as normal a life as possible. They should have a choice and so should I. I fault them not for what they choose.

This guy totally misunderstands us non mask wearers. We are not trying to piss people off. We simply don't believe in the risk. We don't believe the numbers. We don't trust those in govt who warn us that we're all gonna die if we don't comply.
If he stopped screaming and started having a civil conversation with us he would understand. I don't these people are interested in understanding.
