Fertility rate: 'Jaw-dropping' global crash in children being born

Falling fertility rates mean nearly every country could have shrinking populations by the end of the century.
And 23 nations - including Spain and Japan - are expected to see their populations halve by 2100.
Counties will also age dramatically, with as many people turning 80 as there are being born.
What is going on?
The fertility rate - the average number of children a woman gives birth to - is falling.
If the number falls below approximately 2.1, then the size of the population starts to fall.
In 1950, women were having an average of 4.7 children in their lifetime.
Researchers at the University of Washington's Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation showed the global fertility rate nearly halved to 2.4 in 2017 - and their study, published in the Lancet , projects it will fall below 1.7 by 2100.
As a result, the researchers expect the number of people on the planet to peak at 9.7 billion around 2064, before falling down to 8.8 billion by the end of the century

People not wanting to bring children into this mess of a world.

The amount of financial investment in to a "successful" child is astronomical, relative to years past.
The people who don't give a shite about it are the ones pushing out a bunch of babies now. The world is selecting for the indigent and moronic.

Smart people realized having little cuunts running around was a waste of all kinds of time and resources.
That is exactly what this trend says.

I’m boycotting women on account of they find me ugly and tell me they’re not interested.

Good news for the planet. Less people. Less carbon emissions. Mother Earth rejoice.

I've always thought it strange about so many DINKs speaking about not being able to afford kids, wanting to save up enough, etc. while single mom in the government housing is having all the babies she can

In the developing world, children work and bring in revenue for a family. In the developed world, children only cost money for a family. As more of the world becomes developed, especially as more women become educated and begin having careers outside the home, the fewer children will be born.

Isn’t this good? Natural fix to “overpopulation”

That's the attitude to have in order to wind up in a nursing home lonely and bitter without kids or with kids who hate you.

If you are complete trash and don't care if you live in mold infested apartments you can live for free for a long time by popping out kids
The biggest reason welfare and tax credits need to be kicked to the curb

Coupled with incentives for middle and upper class households to have as many children as possible.
Not only does this give us more people likely to make a solid contribution without Herculean effort, it also mitigates the boogeyman of wealth inequality by spreading out accumulated capital in sort of a gavelkind way.

Probably not a bad thing, the world is pretty overpopulated right now. We need to see a decline in India though. Those people don’t know how to use a condom. China will see a decline soon, because of the one child policy their median age is rising.

Imagine thinking you are guaranteed to have kids that bother visiting you.
Maybe you should spend some time in a nursing home.
Lots of those kids dont give a single shite but what money they can get.

1) Expensive as hell
2) Lack of commitment in relationships
3) Difficult world to raise kids up right in
4) Day Care is so absurdly expensive, but then again, it takes a 2 person income for most people to make it, and so you have to factor that into having more than a couple kids.
