I always loved seeing that huge flaming arrow light up the black night across the lake at TL James.

My OA patches are racist, according to some.

They will remain proudly displayed in my home, nonetheless.

I always wanted to belong to a secret order but never did. I guess it is for the best because I can't keep a secret

I was.

I resigned when I was told insane things about who and what scenarios I would be forced to accept about 7 years ago.

I seent that scene in your photo in the mid-80s when our weekends were spent building Camp Mt Bayou on Chicot Lake, for very little food and no talking....and some readings here and there..

I'm 50, so, NO. What a sad state of affairs it has all become.

Same for my fraternity ritual, so I'm told, is mostly unrecognizable.

Are you KA?

I wonder about the KAs and how they are doing with their spiritual founder, RE Lee.

Cheers mate.

Back in the 1960s.... brotherhood member of Cherokee 50 Lodge in Birmingham, AL, area. That was during the Golden years of Scouting.
Our ceremonies were held at Camp Arrowhead near Clanton, AL, on Lake Mitchell.
Awesome stuff back then.
