Or enough tests have been performed to cover 1 in 5.

Deaths still holding more or less stable despite thousands of new cases per day for almost three weeks now

They say that every day. They also trend by date of test not date of report

Same story in Alabama. Deaths flat despite big jump in the number of new cases.

Looking at Texas and Florida they had positives start trending up about 3-4 weeks before the deaths followed.

Not sure if this is the lag time, but they seem to follow each other.

Time to go to phase 3. I’d skip 3 and go straight to 4

That’s a lot of cases with not a lot of deaths. I definitely don’t like hospitalization numbers going up but there is no reason to change course.

Our system isn’t overwhelmed and people cannot afford another shut down

People die
Not a single one of us will live forever

I don’t make that decision nor does JBE
When it’s your time it’s your time & nothing we can say or do will change that

It’s time to start living & being with our loved ones again

I'm with you. Some people are just in denial that this is happening.

My mother in law works at a nursing home in Lafayette, they have been testing everyone every Monday for the last few weeks. If they test positive they move them in a secluded area, the negatives just keep getting re tested every week.

No, we are in denial that shutdowns and phases are worth it.

Not really. I know multiple people that have tested at least twice.
