What are some games where just weird, crazy stuff happened, win or lose? Not to pile on Les Miles, but he sure is involved/at fault for a lot of these. I remember leaving many games exhausted from the stress. Here are a few that come to mind.

2004 Oregon State: their kicker misses all his extra points and we win in overtime (also the rain delay with the streaker)

2006 Ole Miss: we score with 14 seconds left to tie and Colt David misses his first extra point all season. We won in overtime against a bad Ole Miss team.

2008 Troy: all 2,000 people remaining in Tiger Stadium watched us pull off a 20+ point comeback in the 4th quarter in the freezing cold.

2009 Ole Miss: we get the onside kick, covert 4th and forever to set up field goal range and spike the ball with 1 second on the clock. Les Miles then tries to call timeout with the clock at 0.

2010 Tennessee: we bring an entire new offensive personnel into the game with the clock winding down, fumble, and Tennessee ends up with 13 on the field. We scored on the untimed down to win.

2010 Florida: back and forth game, convert the fake field goal with the bad toss and Tolliver catches the fade to win. Wild game.

2016 Auburn: Chark scores the winning TD, gets taken off the board after time expired. Les Miles’ last game.

Give Ole Miss credit-they blocked that shite.

I’d add Georgia 2009. 6-0 game at halftime, 7-6 late in the 4th, then 3 TD’s scored in 3 minutes.

In Les’ defense it’s very hard to get a play off in 1 second on a running clockZ

Auburn did it this year but the refs put the second back on the clock and it gave them time to get their Kicking unit together.

Saban after the game told the refs told him it was unlikely they would be able to get the snap off anyway.

1998 LSU Alabama. LSU is up 16-7 with 10:30 left to play in he game. LSU has a first down on the Alabama 3 after a 25 yard K Faulk run. Looks like we will seal up our first victory against the Tide in Tiger Stadium in over 25 years. 2 plays later Herb throws a pic in the end zone. Tide scores two late TDS and wins 22-16.

I remember we were about to end the streak against the Tide in Baton Rouge and some fluke plays allowed Tide to win

That Tenn substitution was pandemonium in Tiger Stadium

1986 ole Miss, Browndyke with a rare short miss

1987 Ohio St, Davis turns the wrong way and Hudson throws pick at goal line after fist and goal at 2, we tie

Bluegrass miracle

D.Byrd catches one in the corner as the clock just winds and winds to beat Auburn ( lots of speculation about if we would have had time to try the fg had the pass been dropped

Thats not what happened. We were out of timeouts when Jefferson threw the Hail Mary. Tolliver caught it at about the 15 yard line with 1 second left. The clocked stopped to reset the chains and Miles tried to get Jefferson to spike the ball as soon as they started the clock. He spiked it after the clock hit 0. Nearly impossible to do.

Was it really cold for the '08 Troy game? I think it was maybe rainy but I don't remember it being cold.

Auburn 2007 TD to Byrd to win the game. Craziest set of feelings I’ve had to end game.

How did you forget 2018 vs. A&M?

A&M seemed to have control for most of the first half. It was 17-7 with 3:00 to go in the second quarter. However, LSU got a FG to end the half; Forced a 3 and out to start the second half; then had a long drive to tie it at 17. The offense was clicking (4 straight drives of 10+ plays that; 3 which ended in points) and the defense had just forced a second straight 3 & out, suffocating the A&M offense. ALL of the momentum seemed to be with LSU when A&M lined up to punt...then Giles fumbles. A&M recovers and the momentum is gone! A&M takes the lead and LSU's offense then stalls out terribly. A&M has ALL of the momentum until....White strips the ball and Divinty returns it for a TD. A series later LSU regains the lead. With 2:00 left to go LSU stops A&M on 4th down and it looks like LSU is going to hang on for a win. Then, with no TO's remaining, A&M gets the ball for one final drive.

At that point a game that already had several momentum swings got absolutely crazy

Pretty sure that was Dural, not Chark... I could be wrong though.

ETA: I was wrong.

There was a few seconds left. If the fg team is ready to run out there when the chains move, they could’ve snapped it in time.

1999 LSU Alabama had a crazy ending too. LSU losing 23-7 in the 4th. D lineman runs back a deflected pass for a TD in the 4th quarter. Shortly thereafter LSU kicks a FG. 23-17 Alabama. The Tide misses a 25 yard field goal and Booty marches the field in 3 minutes. First down on the one with 21 seconds, Booty runs play action and has two guys wide open in the end zone. He decides to run it and gets stopped on the one. An official signals to stop the clock bc of an injured Alabama player , but the clock continues to run. Game ends.

Leaving that game was miserable.

Also, scoring the game winner with opposing fans on the field was pretty crazy.
