I get the impression most people around BR are going along with it out of respect for the businesses and workers who are having to put the stupid arse signs on the doors and pretend to enforce it.
Regardless of their own thoughts on the matter, I think almost everyone agrees that forcing a confrontation with staff over it is a dick move.

I went out to dinner this past weekend in EBR. The staff at the restaurant didn’t care and said nothing about not wearing a mask. Then tried to go into rouses and ole Baws had a bouncer at the door

Fussed at Friday for not having a mask at Circle K. Today the fussy clerk didn't even open her mouth.

I was told I don’t have to wear one for the following exceptions:
Wearing a mask/face covering will create a risk to officer safety.
Wearing a mask/face covering prevents effective communications.
Wearing a mask/face covering interferes with an emergency/immediate response.
I keep the email easily available on my phone and provide it to businesses in the event that they ask me to comply.

I went to a big box home improvement store Sunday and probably 70% of the customers were wearing a mask. Lol

My son played baseball at BRCC field last weekend. Not one single soul at that ballpark had a mask on at any time.

They’ve repassed the gym crow laws where I work out

Forgot all about it and went in Home Depot on Highland today. Got stared at like I had the plague for not wearing a mask. Didn't hit me until I got back in my truck that I was in EBR and Broomehilda made a "rule". I live and work in Ascension, where we don't have a dictator...yet

Today, lunch at Walk-Ons in Towne Center.... they gave me no grief for not wearing it, and stated, in fact, “you don’t have to wear it at the table....just coming from the car to the table”.
Meanwhile, at Academy Sports on Siegel, one of EBRSO deputies was the the greeting station (front entrance) making sure people had them on. Mine was around my neck, and he motioned for me to pull it up
