I’ve found it easier to just disassociate with these people and groups and do my own thing locally. They’ve not all moved this direction, but I too, went on an unfollow tear and left quite a few groups. And I wasn’t the only one.
I’m not going to support you monetarily and allow you to try and indoctrinate my children through what is supposed to be a group supporting the outdoors.

I have spent a lot of time in the wilds hiking, climbing, skiing, and biking. I have done this in the Maine, VT, NH, NY, CO, NV, CA, WA, and OR. I have seen very few blacks as well. When discussing my activities they question my sanity. Most are not comfortable with the inherent risks and discomforts. I describe the safety systems involved, particularly with climbing. They still think I am crazy.

Thank you! Doesn’t this illustrate that we are a diverse nation? There are a million things to do and not every person has to do them all. What in the hell is wrong with that?
