Embrace the trashiness. Check out Ripley’s, Ober Gatlinburg, and a haunted house. Don’t forget the pancakes!

Head to Clingmans done and hike a little if the weather holds. It’s worth getting a little wet.

Take a drive to Bryson City. Watch the kayakers at Nantahala Outdoor Center. Float the Nantahala in a two man inflatable. Very fun and cold, wear the wetsuit.

Stop at a Appalachian trail road crossing and hand out some cokes and fresh fruits to hikers. You will meet some interesting folks.
