Eh. frick organized football.

Don’t want a scholly for playing, I am good with that.

Shut it all down now. LSU finishes it all on top. Fine with me.

1st: these schools, public and private, have rules. Some of the rules are ethics based and intentionally vague to cover things like this in court. At LSU there is a “Student Code of Conduct”. This code threatens to control and CAN remove students for doing something deemed unbecoming.....like dressing up blackface for Halloween parties or putting up a nazi flag. They can remove the student in question, but will open Pandora’s box. I fully expect this to happen.

2nd: how do you fight it? Take away their power. Someone has to have the balls to call their bluff and defend free speech and end this none sense.

Maybe we can go back to the days where college football was played by actual college students.....

I know other threads are allowed that are more left leaning. For example.... the civil war thread still on the front page.... and it's PAC related

dude; really?

Civil War thread specifically talks about the University of Georgia (twice) and the University of Florida

the OP on that thread is NOT "leftist"; in fact, it has a conservative message & POV

a thread bemoaning the loss of tradition and great rivalry names absolutely makes sense on SECRant

Code of conduct cannot conflict with the constitution.

No, it wasn’t.

It was a tasteless joke. If you have a sense of humor, you recognize that those happen from time to time. You groan and move on.

If K-State dismisses him, in addition to suing the university I'd name every player on that team as defendants. Along with that basketball player who said he won't play either.

Money talks and BS walks. Let's see how fast they backtrack.

Concessions to these types over and over have made them feel that their feelings take precedent over laws or facts.

You’d have a hard time convincing anyone they actually don’t.

It’s mob rule in the country.

Imagine being white and still donating to these athletic programs just lol

The only reason to keep college sports going (aside from baseball) is so that we can keep this board.

The last K State game I can remember intentionally watching was when they beat OU in 2003.

When Mississippi State calls, and they will, I am going to laugh right in their face. I am going to push my kids toward juco then online. Even for engineering.

Those players hate you. Hate you.

Stop supporting these athletes.

Their demands stop when the money dries up and their opportunities vanish.

Let them scream into the void of empty stadiums.
