I’ve been checking out the Venice live feed cam everyday and looks like they been catching a shite ton of tuna.

Mexican Gulf if you can find an open date from them. One of the best down there. If not, capt pittman with fish Venice. Have been out with both groups, highly recommend both.

Pittman is out the offshore game unfortunately. Eddie would be my pick with Mexican gulf next. They've been murdering them.

What does a trip run? I've always wanted to fish for tuna.

Just wondering, I’ve fished my whole life, and I know how to handle a storm inland. What do the guys who go way offshore do when a thunderstorm pops up? Ride through it? Run from it?

I’m terrified of lightning (laugh if you want ) and it’s always kept me from going more than a mile or so offshore

Park under a rig so the lightning hits the rig instead of the boat

Paradise Outiftters and Mexican Gulf. I was on a Paradise Outfitters 42’ cat on a fairly rough day. I was glad to be on that boat because a lot other boats were getting beat up.

As far as costs goes, Paradise is a little unique in that their price includes cost of fuel. I want to say a lot of the charters go for about $2500 plus fuel and tip.
