This home is listed for $750k. You can see from the pictures it’s your basic builders grade DRHorton. Nothing in this neighborhood sells for over $350k and this is one of the bigger homes. We’ve tried contacting the realtor with no response. Now the funny thing is there is a home for sale at a similar price with the same address in Shreveport. I don’t see how a realtor could get this mixed up but it’s worth noting.

I’m not a realtor myself but I am familiar with the area and nothing there sells for that much unless it’s a maxed out custom built home with 3+ acres and horse stables. Also, not the best schools so you can get a pretty big home under $300k easy.

This home should be somewhere between $270-$299 tops as there are similarly sized homes in the back that are completely updated with more modern exteriors selling in the low $300s.

Anyway- the pictures are so horrible it looks like a joke.

Thoughts?

The number sometimes gets fat fingered when loading the listing.

But 7 days it should have been fixed if they are paying attention.

If someone buys at that price, it's a possible money laundering scam.

If it isn't an entry error, they likely are targeting a specific buyer. That's how money is laundered through real estate deals.

How else can they give someone a steal at 40% off? It’s the department store strategy.

Houses are mixed up. Probably a data entry error

Doesn't sound like it would ever appraise, so no sale.

I wouldn’t pay $250k for that house to live in Leeds. If that was in Madison that’s a $450k house.

On the bright side, if you do buy it, the entire OT now knows your home address

Looks like it sold in 2017 for $280. Just 3 years ago, has to be an error

Was expecting more for $750k in Leeds, Alabama. Would have guessed you'd be living like Puff Daddy not Karen.

I'm not saying this is what is going on, but it made me remember a situation in my neighborhood. A company bought a house from one of its employees who they had move to a different city. They hired out a realtor to sell it for them. Well the realtor way overpriced the house, then moved in while it was listed. She stayed there for about 1.5 years before the company finally noticed. She last another 6 months as they had to go through the courts to get her evicted due to squatter laws.

Why does it bother you so much? The guy prolly doesn’t want to move. But he would move if someone paid that amount for the house. It’s very simple to understand
