AOC was a HUGE winner tonight as most of the candidates she backed have won in NY

Mondaire Jones will be the first Black AOC backed candidate to represent NY 17 which is a 60% white, high income seat that includes Chappaqua.
All in all AOC is having a spectacular night tonight ousting establishment Democrats and putting in her own progressive candidates. She also backed Jamaal Bowman who by all accounts will beat Eliot Engel in NY 16th.
She also backed socialist/progressive Ritchie Torres, a gay Puerto Rican councilman who is poised to win the NY 15.
The New York delegation in 2021 will be without Nita Lowey, Elliot Engel & Jose Serrano (and maybe Carolyn Maloney) who have all lost to AOC backed candidates.
Don't like AOC but this was an impressive outing for her and it likely means the establishment Democrats will be out of power in 2020 in favor of the progressive wing.

I dunno.....some local Wall Street heavyweights donated heavily to her rival to try and get rid of her. I was hoping her constituents would be sick of her grandstanding and her stupidity in running off Amazon jobs.

This should be terrifying for everyone. I didn’t see this coming. Thought they could look at that communist groundhog killer and see what it did to their community, and that’s even forgetting AOC.
Trump has to change his campaign over this. I thought a sweep was on the table, but clearly not. He needs to be focused, because these results are terrifying. Someone who everyone knows cost their district 25K jobs was elected at 75%. Trump has a major, major battle ahead of him.
