Has anyone gotten the "promised" credit State Farm is supposedly giving back to customers due to pandemic? My rates actually went up. I'm starting to believe that was fake news.

That was before the riots destroyed thousands of cars.

State Farm found a way to frick customers before even announcing their "relief" refunds.
Guarantee you they have a new (well, actually tried and LEGAL) form of rate increase that they don't have to ask permission for baked into their comprehensive and collision rating going forward. They will recoup those refunds within 2 years guaranteed.
Don't believe me? Ask your State Farm agent about the collision and comprehensive rating factors and how the company uses those to increase rates without having to ask state insurance commissioners for an increase then sit back and enjoy the show while your agent tries to get out of that corner.

Depends. Your funds were probably diverted to Riot-Relief.

My agent said it would be on the July bill.

Allstate raised my car ins the same month by $168/yr no new accidents, tickets, nothing .....I got $16 back for 2 months in a row. Have burned 1 tank of gas in two months so their risk was dramtically reduced and on avg they gave me $2/mo credit basically.
Its definitely a scam
Its definitely a scam

Not State Farm, but Geico promised a "refund" with renewal. Ours renewed this month with a credit a little over $250.

They're not a scam BUT most other companies in Louisiana are better at literally every single thing than they are. I'd insure my vehicles with Go Auto before Allstate.

I got a refund from my insurance company, USAA.

State Farm sucks. Geico already gave me back like $150

Nope, I asked my agent about it when I last went into the office. They said it hits when your policy renews said mine would be about 25 bucks.

No refund but my upcoming bill is half of my normal bill.
Posted on 6/19/20 at 4:33 pm to ItFliesItDies
I got a $40 credit for both April and May through progressive. Hoping I get it for June too

USAA delivered its promise of a rebate and did it quickly, too. Most up-and-up firm I’ve ever dealt with.

Nope. Mine went up $3 a month.
