Is this billboard ”too controversial” and/or “politically negative?”

And if so, when did we become a country where only positive messages were allowed?
Folks ... we’re in trouble.

Folks ... we’re in trouble.

A TNM [Texas Nationalist Movement] billboard to raise awareness for the current dangers surrounding the Alamo was slated to go up in 77 locations throughout Texas this week. That was until it’s message was deemed “too controversial”.

Cities are on fire. Monuments are being destroyed. The Alamo Cenotaph has been defaced. The Alamo itself is under 24-hour guard by State and local law enforcement and surrounding by barricades to prevent its destruction. Behind the scenes, and even greater than the threat caused by destructive protests, is the current “Reimagining of the Alamo” that threatens to destroy its very meaning from within.
Yet, a simple question posed by the TNM was “too controversial” and “politically negative”.

While real controversies rage and political negativity is given a permanent home in the 24-hour news cycle, the usual methods of raising awareness for issues that actually matter to Texans are closing off. For fear of upsetting the establishment politicians or running afoul of the latest prophets of political correctness, there are those who would seek to silence us.
The TNM will not be silenced.

It’s going to happen.
I also expect the Texas History component in public schools to get a major overhaul or be eliminated altogether. Can’t upset snickering illegals by teaching all that.
Once our newfound friends from south of the border get woke and become a one-two punch, it’s over. We’re done. And we did it to ourselves.

The Alamo has nothing to do with African Americans. It won’t be taken down.

Isn't that what ISIS did in Syria and the Taliban in Afghanistan try and erase history?

Since mass consumerism would be my guess

It was a mission, part of the colonial past (bad).
It was where a group of men fought for their rights, chief among them their “right to own slaves”.
It must come down

They’re not even talking about the monuments.
It’s the billboards that are “negative.”

Perhaps to some, but Texan independence was an avenue to bring in additional slave areas for the US. The Alamo fits is nicely with the verything must come down ignorance.

If the far left wants a real fight on their hands they should go after the Alamo and try to destroy it. There are many people in Texas who would stand by and watch a lot of shite, hurting the single highest regarded place in Texas history is not one of them.

Violence would erupt.

It’s going to happen.
1) Erase Texas history.
2) Replace it with "Rules for Radicals", 12 months of "Pride Month", and a massive influx of California and New York migrants who will vote.
What could possibly go wrong?
