Absolutely. They only send to a grand jury when the DA doesn't want to take any heat.

But how stupid do you really have to be to shoot a black guy in the back amidst protests for George Floyd and so soon after the two white guys in South Georgia ran down and killed the black dude

I don't feel the cop did anything wrong, but have also considered this.

Yeah, those cops should have just allowed the guy to disarm them with their taser, then kill them both. After all, that's what they deserve for being cops.

Soros will quit funding the chaos after Trump wins in November. Really no need for it once his 2nd and final term starts.

He’s going to do this running in the opposite direction?

He turned and fired a taser at the cop. Oh yeah, the taser was one he took from the cop while resisting arrest.

They fired on him not knowing if he was going to turn back around to confront them. Police tasers can fire three rounds before needing to be reloaded. If they had waited to see if he was turning to confront them, he could easily have fired off another taser round.

He didn't turn back around until after the decision to fire the service weapon was made, and the act of firing ad begun.

Perhaps you will have an opportunity to resist arrest in the near future and can show us all how it is properly done.

The local news is helping though.
Atlanta media has gotten so far left it is sad. I'm really surprised WSB radio still has Rush/Hannity/Erickson on air.

Over the weekend WSB radio fired Monica Matthews from her Sunday noon-2 slot because she called out one of the WSB tv anchors as a race baiter on Twitter.

Been watching the news and I haven't heard them mention:

1) The guy was drunk driving
2) The guy resisted arrest
3) The guy assaulted police officers
4) The guy stole their weapon
5) The guy ran away again, resisting arrest.

um, you forgot the most important detail

6) the guy turned and fired the weapon he stole at the police officers

He turned and fired the taser at one of the officers.

Are you being deliberately obtuse or are you remaining willfully uninformed on this particular incident?

Do you think there's ever a time where shooting a person in the back is justified?

By protest I mean move to the burbs

I didn't know this...what a bunch of BS.

I was also watched their "riot" coverage Saturday night and one of their on scene reporters (Audrey Washington) might as well have been a BLM spokesperson. Her coverage was 90% commentary

WSB is usually pretty decent. I mean they're probably Democrats, but the anchors (including black folks) were visibly upset when the riots started.

In the past they've been pretty law and order on BLM matters and shutting down the interstates and the like. They're declining I think (coming at these issues more weakly), but every media entity is scared of its own shadow.
