Ran over the old phone with the rhino yesterday. Had to upgrade. What case we buying these days for someone around the water and in the elements often?

Thinnest one possible for me. They're waterproof anyway.

My wife and kids are horrible about dropping their phones. They all have a Mous case that I bought on Amazon.

Mine is an Otterbox. It’s been a good case.

I used to use life proof. But the xr and above is waterproof unless it’s dropped deep. So I use thin cases that can withstand drops. Currently using a catalyst. Then I put a tempered glass on the front from amazon [link=LINK tempered glass[/link]

Just had the exact same problem as you and went with the heavy duty otter box. The "slimmer" cases arent really slimmer and I'm glad I went with the big guy.

I have been using the Pelican Voyager for years. It’s pretty solid.

I like Rokform. Has a magnetic back that’s useful as hell on the farm. It’s also thin and slick so it’s easy to get out of your pocket. It doesn’t have a full screen cover which I was leery about but I’ve dropped this thing on concrete dozens of times and it’s no worse for the wear.

I still got a LifeProof. I know the phone is waterproof but I don’t like my phone getting dirty.

I use the slim Otterbox with the tempered glass protector over the screen.

I drop mine all the time and “knock on wood” haven’t had any issues.

For someone who spends a lot of time outdoors and around water, I’d recommend a case that's both waterproof and rugged. You can find some options at https://inarascases.com/. They offer great protection against drops and water, essential for any outdoors enthusiast.

One of my biggest peeves in life. The things cost +$1000 and they get treated like they are free and easy to replace.

Sad is the day when a cellphone case thread is what lures the dog running diesel grease monkey out of hiding back to the OB!

Hope all has been well, don't see many of the old familiar posters from the start anymore.
