I’m looking for consistency and distance. I don’t need to work the ball.
Callaway Mavrik?
TaylorMade SIM?
Ping G-410?
Others?

After hitting several of them, I didn't feel like the SIM was much of an upgrade over the M5 I was playing. And the Mavrik wasn't much over the Epic Flash.
So I bought an Epic Flash and saved some money

I have a Taylormade M4 that a purchased preowned a few months ago and I really enjoy this club.
I’ve owned Callaway, titliest and Taylormade drivers.
I would suggest going to a golf magazine website and they’ll breakdown drivers in different categories to help your various needs.
I’ve never purchased a new driver- I usually wait till the new models come out and buy a older version

The most consistent drivers of the golf ball work it one way or the other.
What is your current setup?

Consistent driver is a result of you not the club. And i think the shaft is gonna be the most important part of all of this for you. I play the TS3. Ive played with many drivers but personally i think titleist makes the best equipment around.

Ping G410 LST.
Fwiw, the Ping G400 LST is preferred by tour players per a ping rep. So, if you can find one, it's worth it.

I hit the Ping G410, Mavrik, TM whatever and the G410 was 20 yards longer and around 2100 spin. Loved it

The TXG guys did a comparison between the Mavrik and Rogue Sub Zero. The results were identical.

King Cobra Speedzone XTreme
I have never been a Cobra fan but I bought this after some winter research. I was looking for a driver with more carry since my Titleist TS3 has a mid trajectory flight that rolls out. During the wet winter months I was giving up too much distance.
The Cobra SZ XTreme with a stock Tensei shaft just seems to split the fairway every time and the distance is not far behind the Titleist TS3 with a $350 upgraded Atmos ProSpec blue shaft for which I was professionally fitted.

Callaway Mavrik
I am a new golfer (18ish months) but when I got my first lesson, I used this. Really enjoyed hitting with that driver.
