I did like 25% February 8th

All downhill since then. February 8th was the rapture for the true believers and we’re all in hell now probably

I read that 3 times and couldn’t figure out why you were talking about gardening on the Money board. I’m legitimately retarded sometimes.

Skrong Stonk!!!

Bacanora Lithium PLC on Thursday said that lithium demand is expected to increase at a compound annual growth rate of 30% through 2023 from 2020 levels.

quote:

Despite the unprecedented global disruption precipitated by the COVID-19 pandemic, 2020 and H1 2021 saw a revival in market sentiment for lithium with allied rebound in demand and prices

quote:

In 2020, lithium prices were beset by a softening in demand caused by COVID-19 related softening demand caused by lockdowns which restricted manufacturing output and related reduction in consumer confidence

quote:

By the turn of the year prices had begun to recover, with reported prices in December 2020 for 99.5% lithium carbonate battery-grade spot midpoint prices CIF China, Japan & Korea at US$6,750 and min 56.5% lithium hydroxide battery-grade spot midpoint prices CIF China, Japan & Korea at US$9,000 per tonne respectively.

quote:

This buoyancy of the lithium price follows on from the market tightening as the electric vehicle ("EV") revolution accelerates, demand has eroded the oversupply seen in 2019 and 2020

There is a reason sleepy Joe pulled out of Afghanistan and let China waltz in. Maybe the same reason he's pushing the EV's so hard. Got to grease the hand the greases your family.

To be fair, there's a question whether the large contracts are moving up as much in price compared to spot prices which are usually for very small volumes. But bullish none the less!

I'd like to hear contract news as well, The tech seems to have proven out and I'd think suitors would be knocking on the door.

Question about my Etrade act I'm just noticing. There is a item in my portfolio showing up 2 days ago and when I click to get more info everything is zeroed out or blank and it read "Q5431KAE5***LAKE RESOURCES NL OPTION EXPIRING 15 OCT 2021 DEFERRED"

I am pretty new to investing in stock on my own so what's going on here?

I’ve had a margin call flag on my account ever since the uplisting. E*TRADE messages don’t mean anything

Big volume brought it up - low volume dropped it right back.

Damn LAC killing it today - up 13%

Yeah that gets rather frustrating to see it take 10x the volume to move it up compared to the volume that it takes to take it right back down to the same level. When do you ever see a low volume strong move up? While stocks bleed serious value on low volume all the time.
