They aren’t receiving game checks for games they aren’t playing. The percentages discussed are of their game checks

Baseball in about to be dead as we know it very shortly.

Are you kidding? In 15 years, baseball may be the healthiest of the Big 3. Football may get killed from the ground up when high schools start shutting down programs under the guise of player safety.
Support for the NBA has softened quite a bit over the last decade. When you push individuals over teams the way the Association has for the last 30 or so years, you suffer when your biggest stars are unlikable. Add in the woke politics they continually push - as well as outright support of a tyrannical regime over the USA - and that's not a recipe for long-term success. This next round of TV deals will tell a lot.
When the mini-van moms won't let Brayden, Kayden and Layden play football (or there is no more high school football) which sport do you think is going to benefit?

The Major League Baseball Players Association has rejected MLB's latest proposal and will not counter, sources tell ESPN. In a letter to the league, the union asked MLB to inform it of how many games it intends to play and when players should report.

So what if MLB says no and just cancels the season?

If Manfred imposes a season, doesn't it have to be 52 games? I know it's something right around 50.

Are you kidding me? 50 games?

Chris Russo said yesterday they have until Sunday night to get this done with like 70.

Everyone has been saying they will salvage this year and fight another day. Even Russo. I disagree. They will nuke this garbage year for future leverage.

In the grand scheme of things, 50 games is just as pointless as 80 so it really doesnt matter imo

Except it isn’t. It’s like your so hung up on players you’re completely forgetting others

Just like in 81 the season wasn’t invalidated by less games.

Do they play until December 1 on that schedule? I mean, it will be exciting as frick regular season. But, once it gets cold, I only watch beisbol for the freakshow aspect.

You whine about the players so much you’re forgetting others that earn a living from games, even if it’s minuscule. And like I said it won’t invalidate a champion. But you be you.

Most likely will start around the same time as the NBA and end when it usually does

Says who?

Just because you think it is doesn’t make it true.
