Haha if my kid got selected to compete at worlds for the United States, I'd probably be the same way. Thats exciting for all involved.
Coen has visited OU, Alabama and Florida.

I’m so jealous of all the fans of other schools who are getting some video of training. Come on LSU give us the goods please! Does anyone know if practices are closed to the public still? Usually they would post and invite fans to the intrasquad, but I do realize we are still in a pandemic. Has anyone heard anything about them continuing gym 101?

Michigan is full speed ahead on vault. I think I counted nine Y1.5s in the video they posted. Absolutely no drop off from last year.

Even more reason for LSU to push it. Absolutely zero reason for LSU not to have six 10.0 vaults either when you look at the roster and vaulting talent. Kaytlyn is doing a double in the gym with relative ease at times. If they want to start with four or five 10.0 vaults to open the year, then progress to 6 by the middle of the year, I think thats okay but we really should have every vault a 10.0 by post season.
Bryant, Kaytlyn Johnson, Kiya, Edwards, Alyona, Ryan alone are doing 10.0 vaults. Tatum and Aleah also have 1.5's. Kai is coming back too. Elena and Brock have done upgraded vaults in the past.

I will point out that the 9 didn’t include the few potential upgrades that they’re working on so they probably have 10 total or more and didn’t show it, for instance Jenna Mulligan was seen doing a full in that video but used to compete a 1.5. If we want that title this year, we need 6 10.0 vaults in our lineup since they tend to score better at nationals over a clean full

I like her as well but I definitely think Jay is gonna take some of those other girls first before her if they want in. Brynn comes from Haleigh's gym, potential walk on spot maybe?

Bartman is an underdog and is strong on all 4 events (clean and high difficulty). Don’t underestimate her. She’s been training a Nabs on bars and a punch front on beam to name a few of her recent upgrades. Given that she’s shown an interest in LSU for a number of years now and trained at the same gym as Haleigh and Gabbie Gallentine (Gator gymnast), I see her walking on and potentially earning a scholarship in the future for LSU, which is her number one choice
