I know we can't get everyone we want but I wouldn't be disappointed if we went 1 for 2 with the WCC girls. Zoe or Amari are both pretty great. Can't go wrong with landing either one although I hope we get both.
Assuming Konnor sticks it out to 2024 (hard to predict things that will happen years from now), I am guessing we try to get a few kids. Some of the current kids will likely take a 5th year which could impact scholarship availability too. That would make things a bit more complicated although I'm sure the coaches are already working through that.

This seems to be the group we are most highly focused on, obviously excluding walk ons. If we can land a few of those that would be a great class.

Totally agree with you. I think recruiting is going to get tougher, especially within the SEC. Florida will always get whomever they want, and Auburn and Arkansas will continue to bring in some really strong athletes. I think Mizzou will be much improved this year as well. They recruited some really talented AA gymnasts. The coaches have their work cut out for them.

Gantner was also there although not sure she is ready to make a decision yet. She is still exploring colleges, I believe she is supposed to check out Utah soon.
2023 is Jay's first true recruiting class and he has knocked it out of the park so far landing Zoe and Konnor. Hopefully Kylie Coen jumps on board soon.

Is anyone else laughing that Zoe, a US national team member, olympic trials participant is a 3 star according to CGN?

CGN’s rating system is a joke. So many former elite gymnasts are 3 or 4 star ratings according to their scale when they should all be 5 given their difficultly they have, form, execution end how well they transition into college and ultimately do

I didn't notice it until I saw it blowing up on twitter. They are getting roasted. They said McCallum was a 4 star which was funny when you consider some of the other 5 star ratings.

That site is heavily favored towards Florida, UCLA, and Utah. Nothing posted from them surprises me anymore.

That rating is complete BS! CGN needs a wake up call when evaluating recruits. I have been puzzled at many of their ratings. Their bias is also evident for certain colleges.
