With fall practice under way, figured many would enjoy this. The Griffeths both did a small interview talking about their history with Jay, transitioning and goals here.

Courtney is helping with some of the beam choreography as well.

After NSD, will start this thread over and make a new one since this is over 100 pages lol

One thing I appreciate about the Griffeth’s is that they really focus on basics/fundamentals. They were really big on that under Mark Cook at Arkansas. That’s why I was kind of surprised they weren’t offered the job when Cook retired. But then again, Wieber has done a fabulous job and you can’t fault Yurachek for choosing her. I hope they stay for a while though.

Kylie Coen visited Bama this weekend supposedly. Hope we can pull her in when she comes soon.

Looks like Kylie Coen, Lily Smith, and Jamison Sears all visited Bama this weekend. That's an impressive group of visitors. Btw, congrats on landing Zoe Miller. I don't understand why she is just a 3-star recruit (should be a 4-star recruit easily).

I’m hearing Elizabeth Gantner is committed to Georgia. Is that true? I haven’t seen that but that’s what someone mentioned on another message board.

She deleted her Georgia commitment post and was in BR this past weekend with Lilly, Annie, Bryce and Zoe doing a recruiting visit

That's just CGN for you...their ratings are a puzzle to many.

Anyone know why Zoe isn’t trying for worlds? Her and Amari are not listed in the USAG press release. Konnor has a great shot at making it given 4/6 girls trying will get to go.

I believe USAG selected this group, it wasn't open tryouts I do not believe.

Konnor looking very strong so far.

This is a pretty interesting article LSU Gym posted today. I think LSU is playing the NIL rules very well. The Times Square exposure from Day 1 was a great decision from our Athletic Department. The future of all LSU sports will depend on how we can help our athletes profit while at LSU. Seriously y'all, we're playing this game better than anyone else right now. Proud our administration has jumped on this as well as they have.

Konnor with two falls on beam and floor was a disaster. Yikes!

Thats unfortunate to hear she warmed up well. Something has been off since her competitions this spring. Hopefully more time at WOGA and getting more confidence in will help her a bit.

Rough floor too - but she ends up in 4th in the AA. Tom is known for using AA final standings for his team. This would put her on it - IF he holds true to that. But who knows with him.

The only case for her is beam because of her high D score. Hopefully she hits tomorrow. I must say she didn’t look as nervous before her events this time.

Here is a link to her routines (if it doesn’t get taken down) LINK

Her beam could be truly amazing, I love watching her there. I worry about her poor ankles on floor :( her coaching teams strategy appears to be have her go for the hard stuff vs playing it easier and safer.

Konnor has been stuck in a weird place these last 6 months from going to try to peak for this olympics to trying to peak for 2024 olympics. She changed training regimens completely, then changed gyms. I think shes gonna be fine, she just needs more reps and confidence, the skills are there.
