How Far Can You Throw A Football ?

My son will be in the 8th grade next year and can throw one farther than me, pisses me off.
I lift weights and workout and am stronger than he is by far.
He can throw about 45 yards, my distance is less,

55 was as far as I ever threw. I haven't thrown one in a couple years. I'd be lucky to top 40 right now.

An official collegiate football...last time I tried, which was several years ago, 60-70 yards.
I threw it around with my nephew the other day and never for more than about 40 yards, but I wasn’t bringing it or anything. I’d imagine it’s about the same.
FYI...never played QB, just always been really athletic.
