Matt Moscona was the worst about the hire. Not only critical, but made it personal. Coach O and the current coaches will never go on his show.

To be honest not a lot of folks were thrilled with the Les Miles hire in 2005.

Pulling up what someone said 3 years ago as a “gotcha” is petty. I’m sure you made a few predictions in 2017 that were way off.
Very few, if any thought that the guy would take LSU to the top, including most on this board. Just be happy.

I thought it was a horrific hire and it was on paper. I was very bitter about it and gave up my season tickets because I was certain it was a colossal blunder. Organizations that are in the top 10% of their field typically don’t hire people that have failed miserably and hope they learned from their mistakes. I’m very glad I was wrong and O has my full support now because I support LSU and anyone that is helping make it successful. If he would be sucking, I’d have my pitchfork out ready to strike. He has proven to me that he has was it takes to keep LSU near the top.

It's what sports "journalism" has turned into. Take every issue and make it as dramatically good or bad as you can. It doesn't work for the reasonable, sane people. Unfortunately there are not many of those left as all the millennials look for the next shiny squirrel to retweet first.
