Earthbending is powerful but kinda boring.

I do love how each element has a very rational argument for being the most powerful given your perspective. It’s a point Shymalan completely missed. He thought firebending was overpowered, so he nerfed them making them only manipulate fire and gave Sozin’s Comet the ability the animated characters had in day to day life. But the fact that they can create fire is the only thing that puts them on a level playing field. Waterbending would clearly be the most powerful were there not limits on it, but they have some good explanations for it. Like even if you were up against an evil Airbender who would collapse your lungs, an evil waterbender would burst your heart instantly in retaliation.
