I usually don't work in the field, but we had to furlough many of the Field Techs in San Fran, so It is what it is.

Tenderloin sucks. I don't want to be there. I'm pretty sure they don't either. It smells like piss.

The first guy walks by me and simply says,.."God bless you".

I looked back, with my mask on, and didn't say anything. He was gone.

The next lady said, "Thank you for helping us", "Whatever it is you do, thanks for working".

This brightened my day.

Maybe, they are just repeating things they heard about thanking workers. I dont know.

Tenderloins got some decent restaurants. A lot of tents now.

Used to be the place to be in San Fran.

It's supposed to be a symbiotic relationship between cars and pedestrians/bikes/micro-mobility, but the way shite is advancing,...who knows?

In reality, I just collect data.

You mean you remove human DNA from the sidewalks with a pressure washer?

Drove through the Tenderloin while visiting SF and witnessed the largest collection of homeless people I’ve ever seen in one area, many smoking reefer while talking on their cell phones.

I'm talking about Uber/Lift etc. scooters.

There are many others.

I think Fort Lauderdale is the scooter capital of the world...per capita.

From my time doing fieldwork, I would say no.
