And you misunderstand this statistic because you think it means something that it doesn't. There are 6X as many white people as blacks in this country. Of course most victims will be white!
Here is another, less racist, look at the statistics. As a white person, you are 4X more likely to be a victim of a white offender than a black offender.

What's funny (well, not funny) is not that long ago we had a thread about a black man that unsuccesfully appealed his execution sentence because he didn't pull the trigger. He was allegedly an accomplice (the shooter later said he did it on his own and there was no plan) who lured a police officer into the house where he was shot by another person.
The responses to that thread? "Good, frick that thug POS". "Play stupid games, win stupid prizes". "Dindu nuthin".
Funny how some of the same characters make a 180 degree flip on the perspective when the people charged are a bunch of 'good ole boys'.
