The thing is even if he was convicted of this, it doesnt make misdemeanor trespassing some type of felony to justify a citizens arrest for an ongoing crime. Another asinine point.

I’ve said the entire time that I don’t think it’s right for the media to convict them in a court of public opinion. And to use race is a dangerous precedent to set (see BR 2016.)
I also don’t care about the McMichaels. Nor do I know their intentions. They could very well be closeted KKK members.
But to start a racial campaign against a population for the actions of a few is again a dangerous precedent to set.

Now, I know you want to bring that 30k foot view down to a macro level and do a case by case basis; but you can’t defend, as a whole, they aren’t the most violent population.

So you do think past history has any type of meaning for the events directly related to the killing. A man with previous run ins with the law, guess killing him over a misdemeanor is justified because he stole a TV a couple years ago. Weird how the run ins with the law weren’t fatal, but the run in with vigilantes was.

I just haven’t seen any intent by the McMichaels to murder him.
If it comes out that they did; I’ll be yelling right next to you. But I’m not going to convict them because of what the media has fed me.
I’ll wait and make a decision when all the facts come out.

Been down this road too many times with other cases. Something always comes out to justify the killing.
