Of course it is. First time I've had to be in the field in 2 months.

I just put down some weed & feed a couple days ago before a light rain. After next week I’m going to live within a jungle

Why would you cut your grass on Wednesday for rain all next week?

Because this weekend it’s supposed to rain too, just not as much as next week. If I don’t cut it this evening it won’t be cut for another two weeks or more.

I no longer believe weather forecasts.

Storm that kicked off tornados this week wasn't even forecast.

We were getting pounded with rain since early Saturday morning. It stopped last night so I made my little baw get his arse up at 8 today to get the mowing done. (Criminals would hate our place during summer. Someone is up 23 of the 24 hours of a day and we all have quick access to making that person's decision the last of his life.)

Cutting wet grass is trashy.

Did mine yesterday. Baton Rouge was kind of in a drought for a while but the past few weeks it’s been like Seattle here.

I was just thinking about that....I’d really like to cut on Thursday or later so It still looks nice for the holiday weekend, though.

Yeah, Diane Deaton said we'd only get about 0.5 inches and we got over 6. That's not just a little off.

Thursday in BR supposed to be gorgeous so I’ll mow tomorrow. Friday on is gonna be a bit damp. From then on a washout ... or so “they” predict.
