Video of Ahmaud Arbery getting frisked and patted down by cops in 2017 might say a lot about Glynn County PD's attitude toward black people ... keeping in mind Gregory McMichael was once a member of that force.

The video shows 2 officers questioning Ahmad after finding him alone in his car, in a Brunswick, GA park in November 2017. The officers asked to search his car, and the scene got intense when he said no and stepped toward his car. The officers immediately told him to stop and get his hands out of his pockets.

Despite the fact Ahmaud immediately obeyed their orders -- and had his hands in the air -- one officer pulled his taser and fired it. Now, the weapon malfunctioned, but Ahmaud was already getting down on the ground anyway.

About two minutes earlier, the officers had asked for ID, and Ahmaud complied and explained he'd been rapping in his car on his day off. When the officer came back with his license, Ahmaud said, "I ain't got s**t on me. What the f**k you f**king with me for?"

The officer told him the area was known for drug activity and then proceeded to frisk Ahmaud for weapons. He had nothing on him, and there was nothing illegal about him parking in the area.

Still, the officer wanted to search his car ... and that's when the attempted-tasing went down ... despite the fact, they already knew he had no weapon on him.

He was not arrested or cited for anything.

The question now ... is the video, first obtained by the Guardian, relevant to Ahmaud's murder. You could argue it shows the Glynn County PD harassing a young black man who was guilty of nothing more than sitting in his car.

Of course, one of his accused murders, Gregory McMichael, is a retired detective with GCPD, who we know now told police to have at least one resident contact him directly if there was any sign of an intruder.

You got to give it to Arbery's family's lawyers. They are doing their job by using what they have to paint a certain picture that favors their case.

If this story is true (and while some of you don't think TMZ isn't credible, they are probably one of the more credible news sources there is) this doesn't make that police department look all that great. Especially the part where their taser misfired. Good thing it wasn't a situation where they were trying to get someone who would have easily gotten away after the misfired taser.

So that justifies him being murdered?

He just casually walked up and tried to tase him. Not under arrest hasn’t done anything other than be “suspicious”, arms out and but for a malfunction he would have gotten tased.

any of these past issues getting brough to light still don't change the fact that those guys murdered him.

Cops get pretty offended if you speak to them like this.

You can’t pick and choose what past history is relevant. If this is admittable, then Arbery’s past criminal history most certainly is.

First cop didn’t do anything wrong. He explained why he was there and why he wanted to check him for weapons. Second cop is a dumbass and had no reason to try to do that. Seems like he’s someone that’s probably gotten away with it many times.

Arbery complied with everything the cops asked, but he definitely presented some threatening behavior by stepping towards the cop shooting the video a couple of times. First cop could have tazed him and been completed justified as Arbery got close enough to physically attack (not saying he would have but he COULD have)

Few things I can be sure of thus far; he definitely shows a propensity for close up confrontation when put in a confrontational situation. Not saying that justifies what happened but it could be used to propose that he initiated the physical altercation with the rednecks. Of course those idiots had absolutely no right to chase this dude down in a vehicle and shoot him in the street. Secondly, absolutely no way Arbery just happened to be jogging down the street that day trying to improve his mile time. Ultimately, the guys who shot Arbery should be prosecuted and go to jail but I don’t think the Trayvon Martin 2.0 that the media is painting isn’t accurate either.

Did the DA watch that tape before he decided to let the McMichaels off? Probably so.

The video wasn't that bad. Cops look like they rolled up on him out of nowhere while he was chilling in the car. Personally, I'd be annoyed as well if the cops pull up on me to force me out of the car asking questions if all I'm doing is stting in my parked car.

Ahmud is perfectly in his right to say "hell no you cant search my shite". He did walk up on the first officer, but I get the feeling from watching the video he wasnt trying to do anything violent, but was moreso just pissed.

That 2nd cop came out of nowhere trying to escalate things, Ahmaud was literally following orders at that point getting on his knees nd took his hands out his pocket yet cop still tried to taze him. After that was over, it looks like Ahmaud was calming down talking easier.

On another note, I'm confused by Ahmaud's fashion choice. I am unsure if he is hot or cold. He doesnt have a shirt on, but he is still wearing a coat.

Who gives a frick? I swear to god if I was shot and killed by two inbred fricktards and they found a video in 2010 where I was arrested for a public intoxication that people on here would try to justify my death over it.

Between these guys, McMichael being a former detective there, and the DA office down there, they all come off corrupt as frick.

Looks like a hood rat to me. I want to see the full video of the shooting, not just the 30 second leak
