Is it bad that I have a LSU Cecil Collins autographed mini helmet?

I know he was a piece of shite for what he did when he was younger but he got his life together now. In the few games he did play, he was our best running back and I wish we got to see what he could do if he wasn’t a frick up. Some people say it’s cool that I have it and others told me to throw it in the trash.

Was he watching you sleep when he signed it? If not, you're good.

It’s pretty rad if you’re down with rape.

As long as it wasn't a gift to your ol lady, you should be good.

Not a problem at all. How many people would love to have a USC helmet signed by O.J. Simpson?

Keep it. Cannon was a felon but I wouldn't discard his memorabilia. Both reformed themselves later in life. I'm not a huge fan of erecting statues and enshrining those with such checkered pasts but I'd keep a mini helmet although I wouldn't put it on my desk at work.

Keep it the Diesel should have and could have been a Heisman candidate if he had played for two or three years without the off the field issues.

I have his rookie card, but I try to buy any LSU players cards.

After seeing how great he was I thought he would be the best back ever at LSU or even the SEC, he was that good. I hate that his life turned out the way it did but some people just can't get it all together mentally.

Still convinced to this day had he had his act together he would have won the Heisman...

As long as you don’t bring it with you when you’re peeking in windows it shouldn’t be a problem.

Is it weird that I had to shower near him in prison style showers without dividers at Broussard hall? He also used to come to my room to ask for a light

Who cares? I have thousands of autographed cards from players across various sports, Cecil included. I’ve obtained signatures of people who later went on to become murderers. It’s just weird bits of memorabilia. Nothing more, nothing less.

You had to have gotten it signed before all of his stupid criminal shite, he was a hell of a rb for LSU and one of the best we've ever had. It's sad how he wasted all of that natural God given ability like he did. He was going to be great.

Best LSU RB I’ve seen. Be proud. No player will ever be perfect off the field. Old people cum over Billy Cannon but he wasn’t exactly a model human.

Keep it... or I'll take it off your hands. The guy was a great running back for LSU and he's paid his debt to society. I wonder how many people who downvoted this are catholic and still attend catholic mass? Because countless catholic priests have done far worse than Cecil the Diesel
