First here are the guidelines set for restaurants

50% capacity
Workers must wear gloves and masks
Hand sanitizer must be available at front door
Must check temperature of customers.

I went to a local diner that opened back yesterday for lunch.

Every table was occupied, about 90% capacity. A few chairs were empty. Half the customers were 60 yrs old or older. All were white. They didn’t check our temps. Not a single person, worker or customer, had on a mask.

Nobody gives a damn anymore. Time to drop the draconian bullshite and open things up fully. We want our freedom

Time to end the hoax. This has certainly been the greatest and dumbest overreaction in my lifetime and it's caused an unnecessary self inflicted wound. I agree, we need to go back to 100% open and let people get back to living instead of just existing.

It's hard to keep people terrified of a scary pandemic that isn't remotely scary for 99.9% of the nation.

This is the reality.

No one is doing anything. If Rapides Parish only has 300 cases, then let her rip, because every one of us has been bumping into each other shoulder to shoulder in Kroger, Sams and Lowes for weeks.

We have tentative plans to eat at Captain Al's tonight. I was worried about seating and a potential wait. Hope they are following the same protocols as the restaurant where you ate.

I have been disappointed here in Houston- some restaurants still have take out only and some had spacing so far apart it is a joke!

Going to the Mall when it opens today, curious to see what/how much is truly 'open'...

Went to a restaurant last night and our waitress said some jackass called and was saying "y'all are at more than 50% capacity. I can tell by how many cars are out front". She told the guy to come in and count, make a reservation or piss off.

Where’s the cops and heavily armed SWAT? They may need to storm the restaurant and remove criminals!

If I own a restaurant and there’s people waiting in line... I have the staff and tables open I’m gonna say....... Nah, y’all stand out there and wait.

Sounds like legit way to stay in business.

Yeah right.
I bet this sticks.

The key demographic in this story - Mississippi people.

Mississippi is not known for good decision making, education or common sense.

I don’t think the rest of the country should use this shithole as a litmus test.

Tate needs to grow him a set, delaying opening over sky screamers and then those gay rules.

PM - me once you get word that the casinos are opening.

It is long past time to visit.

Our Governor Sloth will probably not open those establishments until the fall.

Meanwhile in Mississippi, they will be raking in all the Louisiana gaming dollars with actual rakes.

It is long past time to open everything up.

If you are worried about catching it, then it is your responsibility to self quarantine.

Here in St.Louis County, it's 25% capacity, starting the 18th.

Governor has opened up rest of State(minus lib tard kc, stl, and stlco), he even allowed concert venues to open.

I know he's giving stlco/stl some rope, but if they try to pull an extension of stay home, i bet he cuts their nuts off.
