There has never been a demand for a human coronavirus vaccine.

There are veterinary coronavirus vaccines that are very effective.

And if a vaccine was miraculously approved and released tomorrow, they’d come up with some new BS reason to keep this shutdown going longer and longer

Of course we aren’t going back to normal until there is a vaccine or another form of immunity/cure. This is obvious

“We’re not going back to normal," said Newsom, who gave Tuesday's press briefing from the site of a Sacramento business called Display California. "It’s a new normal with adaptations and modifications, until we get to immunity and a vaccine.”

I think this is practical not something to get mad about. No one is getting on a packed bus right now - not anyone with options, anyways. No one wants to fly to Tokyo or London today.

It is a new normal. It will go back to before but he's not wrong.

We can hope. Politicians can't be allowed to unilaterally define what is "normal".
All free people should be seeing red when they hear that.

The dumbass governor here in Illinois said the same last night and let's just say, it's not well received.

The Summer season is on the doorstep for both states. I see no way that people are just going to say, "ah frick it" and abide by these insanely slow reopening procedures.

And there's certainly not enough law enforcement to curtail it.

So, it seems that citizens and the kings, er, governors, are in a staring contest to see who blinks first.

I'm moving out, but I vote conservative.

My very liberal son thinks the shut down is insane and thinks the media is lying about it. He also hates Biden.

I think he will be leaving soon too, but not as worried about his voting anymore.

Not all of us are batshit crazy. I want to go back to work. I want to go to the store without a fricking mask on. I want to take my niece to the park or the zoo. I want to go out to dinner. I want to take in a Dodgers game. I'd like to have friends over and bbq in the backyard without someone ratting us out to the brown shirts.

You know, normal California stuff.

Oddly, all the shelter-in-place bullshite prevents herd immunity from forming.

Any questions about California intentions?

Kalifornia says its no longer a phelony to infect someone with AIDS...so yeah, not sure why any one would continue to live in that shite stain of a state. Ruined by commies.
