Update Page5: Got my shed! I paid some MS baw to build a shed and now he’s ghosting me

Well update. BAW came through and was good on his word and shed is complete.






other than drive to Picayune and check knuckles what legal options do I have to get my deposit money back.

I reached out to a company to build a shed. Stupidly all our conversations were over facebook messenger .Owner picked up a $1700 check from me on March 30. I requested an update on April 1st as to when he would be able to acquire the materials. On April 6 owners wife informed me that he was possibly sick with the virus. I am very understanding to the current crisis and wished him the best and to hopefully get well soon. I then asked for an update on April 13th. On the 16th I was informed that he had been sick and I would get my building as soon as he was able to return to work. I understand these are crazy times and if the guy was indeed sick it’s understandable but I was provided with a phone number that does not work (and now seems to block me) or no one answers. I once again asked for an update on April 23 and have not heard anything from this company. It’s been over a month since the owner cashed my deposit check and I have no idea if and when I am getting the building I put the down payment on.
