I've only lived in Nola, BR metro and NYC.

I'd actually least want to live in NYC out of those 3 now.

Outside of college years in BTR, I've only lived in 3 places. One of em was Bawcomville down Smith Street from the paper mill.

So that goes on my list, I guess. Probably 4th.

For consistency, how long do you have to live in a place to consider having lived there?
A month? A year? A semester?

My favorite assignment was Fort Hood by far. I also commanded a company there so that may play a factor. Fort Bliss was awesome.

Worst assignment was as an OC/T at Fort Irwin aka the National Training Center (NTC).

God no wonder you liked Fort Bliss in comparison.

Fort Bliss the post was pretty damn nice when I was there in 2013. El Paso was a steaming pile of shite though.

I was there in ‘13 as well. Dana Pittard made it amazing. Too bad it was also his downfall

Iowa is the only other place I've lived, but it doesn't deserve to be anywhere on this list
