less than 1$ LB. Don't forget they will butcher them for free for ya. Ya can have 1 or both cut different ways or just split and individually wrapped.

I've tried to get them to split the pack and they said they couldn't. Even after I told them I would still buy both.

I've always wondered, why do you always spell butt, butte?

Is there some joke that I'm not aware of? Am I taking crazy pills?

I bought 2 today for $.97 a lb. and already have them trimmed and cut to make hot sausage tomorrow morning.

They are not the usual 2 large butts in a cryovac pack but individual butts and a bit smaller than normal at around 7-8 lbs. each.

I went to Rouse's on Vets and they had the two large butts cryovac..I saw one (double butt) of them it was $35.00+...I passed..I wish they had the single size you are talking about..

It seems all Rouses aint the same I get the big one in Thibodoux,s sale paper. They have the big twin packs they will gladly split em and bout the only thing I havent tried is ask them to grind but I am told they will. When making sausage I usually get tehm to cut them into strips that way I can drop them in the grinder and feel like I done something

Seriously? Smoke them for pulled pork, roast them in the oven for pork roast with a side of sweet potatoes, cut them up and trim off the sinew and use for making pork sausage.

I'm using the 2 I bought yesterday to make hot sausage later today, but also use it to make green onion and Italian sausage when I run short.

How do you make your hot sausage?

I'm about to pick up a few butts and make sweet and mild Italian sausage. Then try my hand at cousin.

If all that I have is a regular gas grill, would it be worth it to cook one of these on it?
