Similar to others about 2-3 hours into it.
-Does the raven eventually auto detect enemies, or something I can spec into? I suck at detecting and marking on my own
-The world map is too white/bright. I even lowered the games brightness down, didn't really help.
-Not the biggest fan of the early combat system. I know I had the same gripe with Odyssey so I'm hopeful it turns around. To me fighting should be 75% offensive, 25% defensive and it feels like too much emphasis is on being defensive.
-Agree that the game is "ugly". I mean it's not really but I'll say the environment is bland.
-Definitely seeing stuttering on my 2nd Gen Xbox One, especially in the interactive cut scene with the seer on the mountain (don't think that's too spoilery). Can't wait to upgrade to the X.

Yea, I canceled my order once it appeared it wouldn't show up yesterday. The disc was $10 cheaper plus I can give it to my step-dad to play when I'm done. Oh well, went digital instead.

Probably a console thing being tapped out.

What are the dashes below the weapon stats when you’re looking at a weapon in inventory?
Example: I have Varins Axe and below the normal numerical states there is a bar with 4 dashes and one of the dashes is filled.

Civilian deaths causing desynchronization is absolutely retarded, you’re a viking for fricks sake. Just had to restart a raid again for killing stupid civilians caught in the radius of my axe swing

No, the save functions just like Odyssey. Won't trigger or allow you to manually save in restricted areas or in the middle of combat.

Yeah that’s a bit lame.... we’re Vikings. We are slaughtering people in churches. But we can’t kill “innocents”?

Because you’re also an assassin and they’re not allowed to kill innocents. There was a similar thing in Black Flag where you were a pirate but I think they allowed you to kill up to two civilians before it restarted. I think they also didn’t allow you to kill farm animals.

I'm about 7-8 hours into the game now. Over into England and just starting to establish and grow Ravensthorpe and the game has grown on me immensely since starting.
The fighting style is different from past AC games and the switch from controller to MnK isn't nearly as intuitive for me yet, but the game is absolutely gorgeous on PC. The revamped looting and quest structuring is a definite plus and I've spent the majority of my time just roaming around synchronizing, treasure hunting, and mead guzzling.
Feels like I'm right at the top of the rollercoaster climb and am about to pitch over and start heading way down into the rabbit hole for hours and hours on this game. Can't wait!
