Pre-loaded on the PC now. This will be my first AC switching over to PC from console and I can't wait to see what it looks like.

Mike Mahardy said it's probably his favorite just behind Origins (which is where I landed as far as favorite in the series). Jason Shcreier said the side content felt more like an experience as opposed to the cookie cutter Ubisoft side quests you're used to, and compared the sense of exploration to BoTW.
Hyperbole or not, I'm ready for it.
Hearing there's a lot of jank in the game, though. NPC's not doing what they're supposed to to advance a quest. Not sure if it's console, PC, or both.

I didn't play Odyssey on console so I have no comparison, but the boat sailing sequences on PC, especially at night, were some of the prettiest and stunning in the whole series.

Same here. I’m able to run mount and blade banner lord on the highest settings with no issues so I should be good to go.

Yeah ACG, said it was a wait for a sale I believe. He mostly attributed this to bugs and he didn’t think the combat was too good. But I mean, I’m still hyped.

Buggy as hell mess is what I am hearing, about the usual for Ubi releases anymore. Watch Dogs Legion was a huge mess too and now finally 2 patches later it's at least decent.

Okay, played from 11 to 3:30 am. Did a good bit of exploring and story...all pretty much seamless.
Beat the first major boss. Battle system is ok now, promises to be a lot better as I unlock more weapons and skills. The game is absolutely stunning. Really enjoying it and can’t wait to get home and explore more. I didn’t even get out of Norway this morning.
Excited about scouting the countryside and upgrading more weapons and getting to England.
I can see getting lost in this game for days

I’m a few hours in, perhaps I’m being a little too hard, but this game is awful in regards of graphics, movement, pretty much just everything visually compared to Ghost of Tsushima.

Played for about 2 hours this afternoon.
I'm enjoying it.
Not sure if it's because my raven isn't upgraded but I am having a hard time scanning and pin pointing enemies.
Went around killing polar bears and sea lions for a bit.. double hatchet wielding is lots of fun.
I'm thinking after Norway the games runs smooth but I haven't had anything too glitchy except for a bad guy running at a wall for a while

It's just not as grandiose as odyssey.
Those greek cities were just beautiful.
This is just some nordic huts so far.
The environment and beauty is the same.. like I said, im still slow playing in Norway.
I'm willing to bet some cities in England will be fine once I get there
