Its the dirty little secret no one on either side of the aisle wants to talk about.

I never expected to see one cent of SS, so I don't really care when it fails.

Joe B, chuck, and nancy P will solve the problem by raising the $128k (or whatever it is) contribution cap.

I did not say that I don't care that its being taken from me without any chance of my ever getting it back. I do.
But what am I supposed to do about it, exactly? I will never, ever see a dime of it and the same is true for most younger people. It will either fail completely or payouts will end up being restricted to the point that anyone who held a decent job and invested wisely will get nothing.
"caring" has nothing to do with it.

Good. Let it fail.
Always thought it would, though now working for 35 years and paying in God knows how much money to see that ponsi scam collapse is going to piss me off. It is literally hundreds of thousands of dollars paid in and POOF! it's gone...

I’m ok with that. Just stop deducting from my paycheck. Let me invest my own fricking money.
x2, but I'll have back the tens of thousands the government has already stolen from my employers and I, to prop up their fricking Ponzi scheme for the last 35 years. Thank you very much.

Impossible. The experts in the '30s surely accounted for demographic changes in their models

frick you a-hole. The government takes money from you, gives it back decades later, when the dollar they took will only buy 80 cents worth of shite if you're lucky, without paying one cent in interest, and then we have to listen to sniveling shits like you call it welfare.

This is where you tards don't get it. It's not your money they are giving back. It's the money from the generations currently working that is funding your welfare checks.

I'm not just calling it welfare. I'm calling you a welfare queen.

That's why it will never be means tested. It makes no sense to give away another 15% of your income to someone else without personal benefit. In that case it becomes another form of welfare to the middle and below middle class. Take a 35% tax bracket person and then add another 15% to the tax burden? No way!

Yeah, that's what makes it a Ponzi scheme, frickstick. I'm 50, and have held a job since the day I turned 16, frickstick. I'll be 65 in.... wait for it... 2035.

You wouldn't say it in person, which confirms you are the bitch you so desperately want everyone to know you are.

This is what you tards don't get. We funded it for the "greatest generation".
It has always been a Ponzi scheme. You are just a bigger bagholder.

At least you get the added moral benefit of funding a generation that actually deserved it.

You're right. I sure as hell am not going to drive to shithole Arkansas to explain the ills of socialism to you.

What exactly have you done to claim "deserved"?
I mean living in Boomers basements with a liberal arts degree isnt a great achievement no matter how hard you try and spin it
