What are the best roadside burger and shake stands in South Louisiana?

I remember going to one off airline highway back when I was a kid.

RIP Burger Delight in Gonzales.

Marie's Old Fashioned Hamburgers on Texas St in Natchitoches is really good if you're ever up this way.

Burger delight is the one from back in the day. I am hoping to find one near Nola, but doesn't have to be too close.

Burger Delight has basically been reborn into Griffin Grill
in Dutchtown. A few things have changed, but the burger is just as good. It's behind the Popeyes on HWY 73.

There is a Griffs in Bossier City by Barksdale.

What was the one on the highway just past Grosse Tete?

My childhood favorite was Badeaux’s in Madisonville.

Dixie Maid in NBR makes a good burger. It's just not in the best area of the city.

I love these little types of places

Coco Moe's in Abbeville
Frank's in Abbeville
Frosto's in Crowley (not sure if this one qualifies)
The one in Cankton isn't too bad.

Sullivans in Amite is everything a roadside cafe should be. Dingy, sketchy and delicious. My favorite local burger.

Was coming to mention Bernice's in Bunkie.

Some others:
Malt N Burger in Thibodaux
Tastee Shack - Meadville, MS
Sullivan's Cafe - Meadville, MS
Hilltop Cafe - Bude, MS

But my favorite of all is probably Harry's in Marksville. Pronto pups, cheeseburgers, crab burgers
