To be fair, usually it’s people saying you can’t compare socialist policies like livable wages, free university, and universal healthcare- all of which really depend on demographics.
Not sure how a virus makes a difference unless you’re saying there is such a huge difference in how the virus affects black and Hispanic people that it would’ve overwhelmed the US hospitals without the measures.

Generally speaking, Norway & Sweden (minus their ghettos) are as good as human civilization can get. Post-war Germany, the UK, and the Low Countries are up in there too.

The entire argument on why it affected Italy so much was because of demographics and culture

They are social distancing. They just have fewer that say, "frick that, its just a cold" than we do.
They trust that their population is intelligent enough to make rational decisions. I don't have the same trust about us. Its embarrassing actually.
