C-19 attacks Hemoglobin

A Chinese study revealed some interesting facets about this bug.
The novel coronavirus pneumonia (COVID-19) is an infectious acute respiratory infection caused by the novel coronavirus. The virus is a positive-strand RNA virus with high homology to bat coronavirus. In this study, conserved domain analysis, homology modeling, and molecular docking were used to compare the biological roles of certain proteins of the novel coronavirus. The results showed the ORF8 and surface glycoprotein could bind to the porphyrin, respectively. At the same time, orf1ab, ORF10, and ORF3a proteins could coordinate attack the heme on the 1-beta chain of hemoglobin to dissociate the iron to form the porphyrin. The attack will cause less and less hemoglobin that can carry oxygen and carbon dioxide. The lung cells have extremely intense poisoning and inflammatory due to the inability to exchange carbon dioxide and oxygen frequently, which eventually results in ground-glass-like lung images. The mechanism also interfered with the normal heme anabolic pathway of the human body, is expected to result in human disease. According to the validation analysis of these finds, chloroquine could prevent orf1ab, ORF3a, and ORF10 to attack the heme to form the porphyrin, and inhibit the binding of ORF8 and surface glycoproteins to porphyrins to a certain extent, effectively relieve the symptoms of respiratory distress. Since the ability of chloroquine to inhibit structural proteins is not particularly obvious, the therapeutic effect on different people may be different. Favipiravir could inhibit the envelope protein and ORF7a protein bind to porphyrin, prevent the virus from entering host cells, and catching free porphyrins. This paper is only for academic discussion, the correctness needs to be confirmed by other laboratories. Due to the side effects and allergic reactions of drugs such as chloroquine, please consult a qualified doctor for treatment details, and do not take the medicine yourself....
This trace implies that the patient's hemoglobin is decreasing, and the heme is increasing, and the body will accumulate too many harmful iron ions, which will cause inflammation in the body and increase C-reactive protein and albumin....

So I can use this to get the old lady to swallow some protein

Are CliffsNotes available?

Because it's a chinese study?
Well, my little klukker, it was Chinese doctors who sounded the alarm and were thrown in jail by the commies. It was Chinese doctors who were on the front lines and died fighting the virus.

Lot of alphabet in that one.
Not reading this.

Right, how are many immune or get over it organically? That reads like it's inevitable for all, and will succumb.

Hemoglobin attaches oxygen molecules to red blood cells going to the lungs.
Hence, the respiratory problems of this disease.

The easiest way to think of it might be this: covid shouldn’t be thought of as a respiratory disease, but a disease of the blood (hematologic). The virus prevents your red blood cells from carrying oxygen throughout the body and exchanging carbon dioxide and oxygen in the lungs. So the virus’s attack on red blood cells is what is causing the lung disease you’re hearing about.
Make more sense that way?

They've known this I thought. My step sister said this weeks ago to me. That's their understanding at Shand's in Gainesville at least.
Also they are doing the hydro treatments there, and no deaths as of a few days ago.

How many times do I have to debunk this. It’s just not accurate. Just google Amdahl u penn covid or look at my history for a link

C19 was created in a Wuhan Virology Lab and it acts exactly like many Blood Agents that are used in Chemical Warfare.
Isn't that interesting?

So they've got elevated CO2 levels and CRP levels .. someone posted earlier a study or comment about the vent being used maybe in a certain way that the CO2 decreased in that patient by 50%.
I've also seen D-dimer order when ordering covid swabs as well.

Hate to be that guy but:
"With regards to this “hemoglobin hypothesis”, in speaking with colleagues on this subject we feel this hypothesis is weak at best, and after critical analysis, we are very skeptical that this occurs. As a critique of the ChemRxiv manuscript[1], which seems to be a primary source of the “hemoglobin hypothesis”, the authors show no convincing data to suggest that the proteins of interest, such as Orf8 etc., actually bind heme other than in modeling theories. Most troubling is that there is no way that we know of to suggest that the virus accesses hemoglobin in red blood cells to attack the heme as described in the manuscript.
Factually Inaccurate.
