So 4/30 seems to be the initial date things may start to reopen. It’s now 4/19 and it doesn’t really feel like in 11 days we are going to be any more open than we are now. BUT I really think people aren’t going to let this go on. I went out yesterday to Home Depot and it was PACKED. Literally traffic to get into the parking lot. Lots of traffic everywhere.

Memorial Day is right around the corner. Will beaches be open by Memorial Day? Curious to see where everyone is on that potential timeline. For the record, I am concerned it won’t be.

4 weeks it’s reopened. Over or under? I’m taking the under. Skeptically but I hope this is 2 more weeks.

States will keep up the pretense of a shutdown but the simple fact is more and more people will start reopening businesses and going about their daily lives.

The Covid hysteria has run its course.

Exactly this.

They've got a Jack-high hand and they just keep adding to the pot on every turn hoping the others at the table will fold.

It's time to call.

This reopen isn’t a light switch like the closing was. Some places will have some businesses open soon and others will take longer. If you are wondering how long it will be until things feel normal again it will be many months.

The Democrats and “other power-people” are taking a page from the 1980 election playbook. The Corrupt US state department and CIA slow-played the release negotiations of the Americans held hostage in Iran, just long enough to ensure Carter was not re-elected.

Now we get act 2 of the same play. If Trump is not re-elected, a “Miracle Cure” will be discovered late January 2021.

Yeah. 70 days after somewhere between 50-100 cases in your nearest big city. If you’re one and a half to two hours away, you may never see a real peak in your area.

Dont know about you...but it started for me last week after the talking point "flatten the curve so hospitals are not overrun" became a thing of the past and now its (and im paraphrasing here) "you must stay home otherwise you are a heartless bastard that intentionally wants to kill people"

and i say to that.....i see frickers sending their kids to school while still contagious with the flu because the parents do not want to be burdened with taking care of their sick child (and do not give me BS they have to work because im talking about the house wives that dont work and go to the gym or tennis lessons or shopping, and my wife was a pre-school teacher and dealt with this BS all the time). Soooooo........the flu kills 10's of thousands of people a year (even with a vaccine).....so why arent these people ridiculed and called heartless POS???

Tell me why i am wrong????

My concern is a lot of these places are going to have a hard time finding workers when they can sit home and collect $846/week in unemployment.

When it ends over there. Now add 2 months and there's your answer.

The "reopening" has already started. Not officially, but de facto.

There is no answer because there is no bright line.
IE, a football game has a bright line. It ends when the clock says 0:00.
A baseball game could theoretically go on for 100 years unless it is arbitrarily stopped because all the players are dead.

Do you actually believe Carter had ANY shot at re-election ? I'm sure if his attempted rescue had gone right he may have won a few more votes, but he was a dead man walking.
