Alrwdy binged the Macho Man, Screwjob, Brawl For All (which I forgot even happened), and Von Erichs episodes.

I guess I'm going to have to watch the Benoit episodes, but I don't want to because it's just so horrible.

My biggest takeaway from the whole thing, though, is how great Scott Hall is in his interviews. I don't think I've seen him lucid and that sharp maybe ever. He's so great at putting the viewer into thf scenario and the world. Others are also great, the whole Russo v. Cornette thing gets very old very fast to me, but I know whey they're there.

somewhat tangentially related, but a few years ago some friends were over and we got high and stumbled upon what culture's wrestling videos and that was it for about 4 hours

My favorite show on TV, and in my opinion, one of the best. Very well-produced.

The New Jack episode was highly entertaining.

All through the episode, they bring someone in to make a big outrageous accusation.

Then New Jack comes on, and you think he's going to deny it. Instead he says, "frick yeah, I did that shite. Lemme tell you what else I did."

The show takes you behind the curtain and gives clarity to stories that have basically become urban legends over the years. It’s extremely well done, and I never miss an episode.

They're disturbing but at the same time two of the best episodes in the series with how they tie it all together.

Funny, I started today & watched the Macho Man episode. Have heard good things about it and plan to continue on. Agree about Hall and how enjoyable he is sober.

Speaking of, Jake Roberts looked/sounded good as well. I remember watching “Beyond The Mat” back in a movie theater (saw it is on Netflix & plan to check it out again) and Jake was a hell of a mess.

Watch the Bruiser Brody episode. All sorts of messed up going on. I legit believe he was murdered and 100% believe Tony Atlas.

Love this show. Some how fooled around and missed the Benoit episodes, but got the DVR set to record them when they come on. Watching this got me thinking how good a Mad Men style show based on a wrestling promotion in the heyday of the territory era and showing the transition to territories being bought out and consolidated making bigger organizations and cable tv making pro wrestling a worldwide pop culture phenomenon with all the backstage politics and whatnot in between could be.

Wonder if Dark Side of the Ring will tackle Pat Patterson?

The Brawl for All...

Man was Vince desperate at the time.

And then it did look like Butterbean killed Bart Gunn.

I think Vince had watched Rocky III too many times.
