Looking to get a humidor and start smoking cigars more often. Any good recommendations for online sites with good prices?

Cigars International has decent prices on pipe tobacco. They also own Pipes & cigars.com and Cigar Bid.

Cigar bid is pretty cool. I've bought quite a few tins of Plum Pudding.

I used cigars international and thompson. Both fine.

Stopped smoking like 5 years ago though.

JR Cigar.

Thompson and Cigars International frequently have great deals on samplers and bundles.

Barring any awesome deals from Thompson or CI, I typically order from JR.

JR Cigar is good. Used to be a lot better when Lew Rothman owned it. He’s a character and a half. Last of a dying breed.

I'd recommend skipping the humidor unless you want to spend crazy money for a good one. The seal on cheaper humidors are crap and they won't hold humidity well.

Instead, go with lock n lock containers with a Bovida pack. This will hold perfect humidity. If you plan to go big, buy igloo style coolers to hold several cigar boxes.

I keep my cigars at 69% humidity in lock-n-locks. I do have a humidor, but it fluctuates from 62-70% depending on the weather (which affects my indoor temp/humidity). The humidor usually floats around 63-65%, so I use the it to dry any cigars that don't smoke well at 69%.

THIS, all day long. I used JR a few times in the past without issue, but their customer service has gone to crap since Lew retired, that's for certain.

I use CI they are now the biggest online retailer out there. CI has a great daily special called Joe Cigar.

Just got an order in from Holt's yesterday, my first from them. I ordered it Friday night, free shipping. Five days, holiday weekend. I smoked a couple times in their main store on Walnut Street in Philly Center, which was awesome.

Thompson is known for bait-and-switch on their samplers. "Sorry we were out of the CAO Brasilias in that sampler, have five Thompson Caribbean Rounds instead."

Atlantic Cigar is a good retailer with decent specials on a daily basis.

Famous Smoke Shop has some decent specials, too. They have a daily special called Cigar Monster at www.cigarmonster.com

You may be the first person I've seen who uses them more than once. Corona Cigar Company is the best out there. Their monthly chat club provides a solid selection & you get a percentage off of every purchase.

They have a virtual herf every Thursday evening at 7:00 EDT/EST

Their sales are typically only one or two specials. Some are good, some are not, you really have to catch them when they happen.

CI is great.

I used to use Cigar Bid quite a bit but it's been years. They used to have a forum with a ton of really friendly people who would gift/trade sticks, not sure if it still exists but if so you can learn a ton from those folks and perhaps benefit from their generosity.
