I used to use Cigar Bid quite a bit but it's been years. They used to have a forum with a ton of really friendly people who would gift/trade sticks, not sure if it still exists but if so you can learn a ton from those folks and perhaps benefit from their generosity.

I'm a lifer over at Cigar Weekly. Our folks are very similar to the CBid guys, with more than a few crossover members in the past. Our traffic is significantly down, but the folks are all top-notch. I have made some lifelong friendships there. Even slow, cigar discussions are still friendly and quite informative.

My friends mostly call CBid "the devil site" because you can get so much good stuff for not a whole lot of money that you end up paying in the end because you buy so much. I've stayed away for obvious reasons (hint: not an OT baller.)

Instead, go with lock n lock containers with a Bovida pack.

This. If you want to smoke cigars without thinking about humidity, do this. It’s reliable and easy.

If you want a project to tinker with, do a cheap humidor.

You should check out cigarpage.com. They have great prices. The only complaint is that you have let their shipments sit for at least a week after you get them to get back to smokeable quality. If you have a big stash, it works great.

You can also check out smallbatchcigar.com. They have GREAT stuff although very bent towards the boutique brands. But they ship super quick and you can almost smoke straight out the box, even though a 10-day sit is much better.

Both sites have GREAT specials. If you know brands you like, smallbatch is great. If you want to explore try more of cigarpage, as they run cool samplers.

Famous Smoke Shop. Stay away from Thompson. Google best online cigar shop. Lots of nightmare stories, but Famous is near the top of everyone’s list. Been ordering from them a little over a year, no issues whatsoever. Takes a little while to get here from PA if you don’t pop for quick shipping, 5-7 days.

Though I've never visited one, I think Cigar forums are probably much like Rum forums....not nerdy enough for bourbon purists, not as high class as gin drinkers, not as popular as tequila drinkers, just a good solid group of folks who dgaf about what people think, they just know what they like and appreciate others with the same passion. At least, that's vibe I got from CBid...I imagine CW was much the same.

Placed my first order with them 2 weeks ago. Cheaper than my local B&M joint and great response. They’re my go to.

I usually order from Cigar International when they have sales on specific samplers or 5 pack bundles. They are pretty slow to ship, so you'll need to let those sticks rest a bit when they arrive. These days, I'm liking CigarandPipes. They have some very nice samplers available. They ship crazy fast and their shipments come with a Bovida pack to maintain good humidification. Their prices are more than CI, but you can get singles. I'll buy from CigarsDaily every now and then. The guy running it, Tim, is pretty funny and has a youtube channel. Again, prices are higher than CI, but these smaller outfits tend to take a lot more care when packing and shipping.

I ordered from JR Cigars last couple of years, but recently switched to Cigar.com.
Cigar.com has more and better deals. Packages with assorted cigars for great prices.
That way your not smoking same thing everyday.
