If we can’t pay him I’d wouldn’t accept anything less than 2nd + 4th rounder

At best you may get a conditional 3rd if he walks after next season, why would you dig in at a 2nd & 4th.

I would think that's the ask, and you settle for a 3rd w a conditional pick for next year based on performance

I feel like most any good NFL rb would put up astonishing numbers with his volume. He gets the ball on almost every play.

I do think Kamara is an every down guy. People said the same thing about Bush. He goes to Miami and shows that he can be. That’s just not how we use rbs here. Look at the rbs that we’ve had here. Pierre, Deuce, ingram, Kamara, Bush. All were used as a committee. I want us to extend Kamara. But not north of 11.

Think 11 million a year is good value?

I think it’s market price. Not sure they pay it with Thomas’ massive contract on the books. Which really isn’t any better tbh

If not the Saints someone will give him $9-11 per year

Partially so but he actually is a really good running back. He does some special things with the ball in his hands.

I believe he could be from a skill perspective. He is able to run up the middle and catch the ball from the back field but I don’t think he can hold up physically. In 2018, he was tremendous early on when he was used a lot more during Ingram’s absence but wore down through the stretch. He was not nearly as effective by the end of the year.

There is no stat, metric or measure that Klutch sports can stand on to get AK a deal similar to CMC. Can’t even justify lev Bell money

Klutch just tried to strong arm the chargers with Gordon and we see how they worked out

Take the 10-12 per from the saints and move on

Trade him for some picks. No way we pay him that. Appreciate all he has done.

McCaffery earned his contract with consistent play since he’s entered the league. That said, there’s no way I’d pay a back that much money. Way too many examples of bad contracts for top backs.

Kamara would be lucky to get half of that. With his injury history I’d be trading him this draft and getting his replacement.

I fear that they’re all in for Drew’s last season.

Kamara is counting $2.3 million against the cap this year. they could keep his 2020 cap figure under $4 million if they sign him to a long-term extension. they shouldn’t have too much trouble fitting that in.

I only see AK and Murray on the roster. Did we not re-sign Washington?
