Went to Costco yesterday and couldn’t believe that price. Weird times indeed!

I remember visiting family in the summer of 2008 or 2009 and gas being nearly or just over $5.00 a gallon on Long Island

94 cents a gallon a few miles from my house. I know it was cheaper than that when I was kid but I honestly don’t remember it being cheaper.

In the Siloam area it’s $1.209 at the Murphy Oil station.

I’m old. When I started driving it was .19/gal. When it went up to .29 we all had a shite fit.

10 cents a gallon was a lot when your ride got 10 mpg and you made a buck fifty an hour.
